hurghada au hurdakha

Alhamdulillah, last semester break the 4 of us were lucky to get to go on a 3 days & 2 nights trip to one of the egypt tourist attraction which is Hurghada. It is famous for its beautiful beach and sea. Subhanallah, such a beautiful place. If you happens to visit hurghada, make sure to spend your time on the beach. don't forget that keyh! ;)

It was about 5 hours journey from the center of cairo to hurghada by car. We went from alex to cairo by train which was about 3 hours journey then left from cairo to hurghada by car. Alhamdulillah there was Ustaz Ahmad whom the one that guided us during the trip. thank you ustaz for making our vacation one of the best ever :)

Off to Hurghada~!

Along our way to Hurghada there was only padang pasir. No trees, no buildings, only desert. Ok with some rocks and..... kipas?? haha. high energy generator windmill i guess. huhu

On our way to Hurghada we stopped by a place called Porto Sokhna. It's a beautiful place some what like a resort something like that of the bukit merah lake town resort i think. We just stopped by to use the toilet actually. hehe.

After a looong journey across the desert we then finally reached the final destination, Hurghada~! Alhamdulliah.

Before going through our holiday trip let first identify where exactly Hurghada is. If you google, you will get a better location but roughly, Hurghada is situated along the Red Sea. 

After we reached Hurghada, the first thing we search for was lunch. hehe. We were quite hungry actually. Didn't ate since morning. huhu. Alhamdulillah there was Gad and lucky us it is way better than the gad in alex or cairo. this one you can sit and eat there in stead of just take away meal.

Since we arrived evening in hurghada, so the first day we didn't go anywhere much. just to the Osheen Tour center to book tickets for our activities in hurghada. We took a one day boat ride to Paradise Island with snorkeling included, submarine underwater view and a motor ride safari. Later, we went for shopping at one of its big market.

Second day in Hurghada, we went for a one day boat ride to the sea.

In front of the hotel we stayed in, waiting for the van to to take us to the jetty.

Safely arrived at the port after waiting for the van quite some time.

Finally arrived at the Paradise Island.

On the beach, we practiced snorkeling before doing it later in the middle of the blue clear sea.

Okayy, now im bored and started to do the jumping thing on the beach.

Then it's time for us to leave the island and go back to the big boat.

Lunch time. Had spaghetti, egyptian-style and potato in red sauce with coke. Not really my preferred drink actually. 

Suddenly we heard people whistling. To our surprise, there was a group of dolphin swimming near our boat. Lucky us, we got the chance to see dolphins although it was only for a while. They were not tamed dolphins and afraid of humans, so they swam away.

Time for snorkeling again. yey! but this time is was more exciting. snorkeling in the middle of the sea. :)

Now it's shekin's turn. unfortunately she was a little too late and it was already times up. poor shekin. hoped one day she'll get the chance to snorkel.

After spending the whole day at the sea, then it was time for us to return to the land. that was all about our day to the sea. the next day which was also our last day in Hurghada, we went to two places. the first was Sindbad submarines, experiencing the underwater from inside the submarine. and the second was safari motorbike ride.

Because the boat that was supposed to take us to the submarine was a bit off scheduled, we did some photographing sessions while waiting. hehe.

Now we're getting more and more boredom of waiting and started snapping random pictures. haha.

After a long wait, the boat eventually arrived. alhamdulillah..

Later that day, we had our motorbike ride in the desert which was the last destination before heading back to cairo.

We conquer the land! >.<

And so the night came and it was time to leave Hurghada. Alhamdulillah, although it was a short trip but we enjoyed it so much. hopefully next time we'll have more chances to visit other part of egypt before  leaving this country for good.
