new pouch for the new hd

Last week i bought a new external hard disc, which is 1 tera in size. Hehe.

Since the new hd doesn't come with a cover, i decided to buy it separately. but just before i could do that, a friend of mine she offered herself to nit me a pouch for my newly bought hd. And surprisingly she has already finished it by today. Its not even a week! Amazing how she could nit that fast. Hehe.

Here is my new pouch. it fits in perfectly :)

Alhamdulillah, thank you my dear for this wonderful pouch. i love it! I'll make sure to take care of it. Hehe. Thanks dearie. ;)

let the few be the value

Lately i alwys cry thinking of mum n dad and my family. myb bcoz i know i dont hv much time left with them. im away for too long and when it is time for me to return, i hv to go with someone else. i once promised myself that i wouldn't want to be apart from them any more, let egypt be the last. but now when i think about what my near future holds, i feel sad coz i know it will no longer permissible. deep down, i hoped i did better for them and gave more. but now that i know my time is limited, i just want to make every moment i have with them counts. so that i wont be regretting this later and may it be the most valuable memory to me and to them. :)

Ermmm... ppl might just think wrongly about this post. it's not like i have a terminal disease and im dying or anything.. just say, i am near to building a new family, (which was suppose to be a happy something. and yes it is). just that when i think of how much time left for me to spend with them, that what makes me wanna cry...

Mum dad, truly your daughter misses both of you so much. sorry for all the wrong things i did and for the things i couldnt do. they never were my intentions to hurt either of you. coz mum dad, you are the apple of my eye, and the reason that i live. thank you for everything. i know i won't be able to repay both of you even if i have a mount full of golds, but the least i could do is to make you smile n be happy. love you so much and will always be loving you. although im far from you, just know that my heart is always near to you. =')

we first met

Scrolling my own twitter account and reading my own tweets (which i love doing, kinda hobby. even did it on the blog too! hehe), then i spotted this tweet i wrote on 16th august 2012. It was the day i first met you in person. (thought you look handsome tho. hahah :p) It had been 3 months since then. hope to see you again on November 2013, InsyaAllah...

Happy 2nd months engagement anniversary! ^_^    

May we pass through this crucial phase with success and ready physically & mentally; heart & soul, to confidently approach the next step of a new beginning to a happy ending, insyaAllah. have faith in Him n us. :)

Alhamdulillah today will be the last day of the year for the Islamic calender and tomorrow will be another year to face. May this year brings benefit and full meaning in our life and next year brings more joys and happiness and rahmah, insyaAllah :)

Hari ini genap DUA tahun berblogging dgn SWEET POTATO. There's so many things i treasured in this blog. my happiness, my sadness, my achievements, my disappointments, and so many memories that i hope not to forget.

In less than a year, i will become a graduate (insyaAllah). it felt like a dream. couldn't imagine how i survived 5 years in medical school. All the ups and downs, we managed to get through the obstacles... together. :')

InsyaAllah i will try my best for my final year. Lets try our best dear friends! Ya Allah, help us through. :)

Alangkah ruginya jika kita lakukan sesuatu tanpa niat utk beribadah dan mancari keredhaan Allah. kelak di akhirat tiada bahagian utk kita bagi pekerjaan yg kita lakukn di dunia. maka setiap urusan kehidupan hari-hari kita niatkanlah sebagai ibadah kpd Allah, hatta tidur sekalipun. InsyaAllah, ada saham bagi kita di hari kemudian. janji Allah itu pasti. =)

Lets see..... one of the important items in toxicology to be memorized are the physiological antidotes. lets just dig into some of it and start memorizing them. tomorrow will be the poison center session with Dr Laila. need to be prepared in case she ask bout them.

::PHYSIOLOGICAL ANTIDOTES::
Atropine sulphate --> ChEII, Early digitalis
1.Cyanide antidote (amyl nitrite, sodium nitrite, sodium thiosulphate) --> Cyanide
2. Digibind/ Fab fragment --> Digitalis
3. Heavy metals
- BAL (british antilewsite) --> Arsenic, Mercury
- EDTA --> Lead
- Deferroxamine/ Dasferal --> Iron, Aluminium
4. Methylene blue --> Methemoglobinemia (aniline dye, dapson, nitrites)
5. Narcotic antagonist
- Naloxone/ Narcan (short acting) --> Acute opioids
- Nalmefene (long acting)  --> Acute opioids
- Naltrexone --> Opioid addicts
6. N-acetyl cysteine/ mucomyst --> Acetaminophen/ paracetamol
7. Oximes --> ChEII
8. Physostigmine salicylate/ antilirium --> Anti-cholinergic

Fuhhh that was long. okay,,, quite long i mean. huhu.
